Vintage Print Shirt Style Apron

Tooth Fairy Bags

The Tooth Fairy is a big deal at our house!  We even CALL the Tooth Fairy to tell her when we've lost a tooth!  The kids have each been so excited to get a little something for that precious, white treasure...but one of them was afraid of having a "Tooth Fairy in her room while she was sleeping" so Gram came up with the perfect solution!  She made a convenient Tooth Fairy Bag, complete with a tiny, plastic treasure chest to put the tooth in so it didn't get trapped in a corner of the bag.  We hang the bag on the door knob and the Tooth Fairy has never had a hard time finding it (or remembering it, either for that matter!)  The bag comes with a tooth sticker (for the scrapbook) and is wrapped in tissue in a special gold box.  All that for just $10.00!  This is a DEAL for the parents of that special toothless-grin-bearing-crumb-snatcher!  You can request the satin one with the beaded handle or the denim pocket with the colorful handle.

Once again, Gram is in a sewing storm!  Here is an adorable Memorial Day or 4th of July Print Apron...she charges a mere $17.50 for this apron!  It is such fine quality workmanship she really could get more for it but she likes to "treat people right" as she puts it!

We have seen cart covers with poor quality and not as much personality in retail stores for at least ten dollars more...and in some cases, even twenty dollars more!  Don't get raked over the coals and pay for a cheap cover that won't hold up to washing!  One big reason for purchasing a cart cover is to protect little junior-sweet-ums from all those germs and icky goobers from the cart!  You KNOW you will need to toss that cover in the washing machine time and again so at least purchase one that can stand up to the job!  Gram's cart covers were made with the washing machine in mind!

Gram has been busy sewing!  For any of you that have ever seen her work, you know she is an absolute PERFECTIONIST!  Right now she has shopping cart covers ready for that last minute baby shower you need the perfect gift for!  Her cart covers are unique in many ways.  She has embellished them with handy ribbons for the baby to play with or for you to attach the pacifier to!  (Or to attach a toy or two onto so the baby isn't trying to scalp out the groceries behind him to keep him busy!)
